Schedule of Fees and Charges

Effective as of the February 2024 billing, Water Rates are as follows:

Minimum Rate $14.50 per month + Sales Tax (9.25%) $1.35 = $15.85

No minimum number of gallons is included in the minimum rate.

Uniform Rate is $0.93 per 100 gallons – $9.30 per 1000 gallons

Meters are read between the 15th and the 20th of each month.  You should receive your bill by the 1st of the month and it is due for payment by the 15th.   A 10% penalty is added to each unpaid bill after the 15th of each month.

Payments may be made by check or money order in the office, by mail or in the after-hours drop box located by the drive through window.  We do accept cash payments. You can also pay by debit or credit card in the office, by phone or at our website, qwudtn.com. There will be a processing fee added to all card transactions.  Automatic bank draft payment is also available. Our office staff can provide forms and details for setting up bank draft.

Unpaid accounts will be LOCKED on or after the 26th of the month. A reconnect fee of $50.00 (effective 2/1/2021) will apply if meter has been locked.  A tamper fee of $100.00 (effective 2/1/2021) will apply if the lock or meter has been tampered with. NO FINAL NOTICE WILL BE SENT!

There is a Return check fee of $30.00.

The Board of Commissioners meets at 10:00 a.m. on the 2nd Friday of each month at the District Office.
